Keith decided to go with [Peak State Fit](https://www.peakstatefit.com/?ref=keithandlindsey.com) in Salt Lake City, UT as they provide the advanced [Retul](https://www.retul.com/bike-fit?ref=keithandlindsey.com) bike fitting service. It included an initial physiological analysis to identify any muscle weakness or mobility limitations that may impact Keith's safety and comfort on the bike. Next, Chris discussed Keith's goals for the bike fitting. Finally, Keith was wired up with sensors and the bike fitting process was started. 0:00 /0:05 1× Quick video of Keith wired up with sensors during his bike fitting process (before making any fit adjustments) The results were surprising! Chris lowered Keith's saddle by 25 millimeters, cut his handlebar width down from 800 to 760 millimeters, and moved his aero bar extensions closer to Keith's body by 30 millimeters. These changes are very drastic considering being off by only 5-10 millimeters can result in knee and/or back pain. Chris also fitted Keith with a new set of insoles to help better align and support his feet while pedaling. Chris asked that Keith ride in this position for the next couple of months to get his body accustomed to it. Keith will then revisit [Peak State Fit](https://www.peakstatefit.com/?ref=keithandlindsey.com) for a follow-up fitting in about 4-6 months. Ad by Google AdSense ## The 2024 Tour Divide race started 🚵‍♂️ 😔 The [2024 Tour Divide](https://keithandlindsey.com/keiths-midlife-crisis-racing-the-2024-tour-divide-announcement-part-1-of-2/) race officially started on Friday, June 14th at 8:00 AM MDT in Banff, CA. Unfortunately, due to his recent knee injury, Keith was unable to start the race this year. The forecast is calling for abnormally low temperatures and potentially heavy snowfall. This time, she drove to Idaho to meet up with her friend Tiffany. Tiffany flew in from Indiana and the two are going to explore the [Redfish Lake](https://redfishlake.com/?ref=keithandlindsey.com) area near [Stanley, ID](https://visitidaho.org/regions/central/?gad%5Fsource=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwvb-zBhCmARIsAAfUI2uqz4mRk45o5ZxcbFbMugBiCSSIKtAksd8W0EThAG14bTfh9L9ehY4aAk1qEALw%5FwcB&ref=keithandlindsey.com). Lindsey and Tiffany have been friends for a very long time and they haven't seen each other much since we moved to Utah over 8 years ago. Lindsey will have to tell you more about this trip once she returns later this week. ## Pancake breakfast at the Pleasant Grove Fire Department 🚒 🥞 On Saturday morning, Keith attended the annual [Pleasant Grove Fire Department pancake breakfast](https://www.strawberrydays.org/index.php/firemans-pancake-breakfast/?ref=keithandlindsey.com). This breakfast is part of the annual [Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days](https://www.strawberrydays.org/?ref=keithandlindsey.com) celebration. This year, since Lindsey was in Idaho, Keith decided to ride his bike to the event rather than drive.
