Getting in the Christmas spirit! 🎄🎅

It's hard to believe that Christmas is almost here! 🤯 We are so excited to kick off the holidays this year. To start things off, we watched a live stream of our niece Ady's Christmas concert. It was so cool to be able to watch her and her classmates sing, live, from all the way in Indiana.

We also started enjoying the "Let's Battle: Couples Edition" Advent calendar that we received from Lindsey's sister, Jill. This fun Advent calendar is full of challenges and puzzles that we compete against each other to solve first. So far, Lindsey has won the first few challenges. 🏆

Canopy holiday party at Rice-Eccles Stadium 🏟️ 🥳

The company Lindsey works for throws a wonderful holiday party each year. This year, the party was held at Rice-Eccles Stadium on the University of Utah campus. We were both excited for this venue since neither of us had been to the stadium.

The holiday party was a lot of fun. We sat with some members of Lindsey's team, ate a delicious meal, and enjoyed getting to know one another. We also listened to the live DJ and participated in the raffle drawing. Lindsey's name was pulled, and she was able to select a gift certificate to Tucanos Brazilian Steakhouse! 🎁

Skipping Snowbird's opening day 🚫 🎿

Snowbird officially opened on Sunday, December 7th, for the 2025-2026 ski season! 🥳 However, we decided to skip the opening day festivities this year... 😔

We were both concerned with the amount of "early season" (i.e., beware of rocks) warnings that Snowbird had been sharing. Snowbird's base has been hovering around 10", which is barely enough to cover the rocks. This low base amount also meant that very limited terrain would be open. So, rather than fight the crowds for a few, potentially rock-filled runs, we decided to stay home and take care of other things.

We are planning to spend next weekend at Snowbird, though! 🙌 We are using our Snowbird season pass benefits to stay two nights at the Cliff Lodge. This will allow us nearly ski-in/ski-out access on both Saturday and Sunday. We can't wait to finally get on the slopes!

Dinner at Bubbakoo's Burritos in Orem, UT 🌯 😋

We both wanted to get out of the house on Sunday evening, so we decided to check out a new burrito restaurant that recently opened near us. Bubbakoo's Burritos is an interesting place. It was started in New Jersey but has a very California vibe.

Lindsey ordered the Papi Hibachi burrito, and Keith ordered the Pineapple Express burrito. We also ordered a bag of chips and a side of queso. The burritos were massive and filled with so much delicious meat and sides. We both left the restaurant uncomfortably stuffed and ready to head back to the couch. Overall, this is a fantastic option if you like burritos.
