Keith went mountain biking in Pleasant Grove, UT π΅ π
The weather has been extremely warm and dry this winter. Keith decided to take advantage of this by heading to some of our local mountain bike trails. Specifically, Keith rode from our house in Orem, UT to the Valley Vista Trail System in Pleasant Grove, UT. This is about a 15 mile (24 kilometer) ride just to get to the trail system.

Keith was "racing the sun" so he pedaled extra hard to get there. He also raced up to the top of the trails so that he could get in two full laps before sunset. It's been a while since Keith has ridden any proper singletrack trails. He felt a little shaky on the first lap. π By the end of the second lap, Keith felt back at home on the trail again. π
Keith then pedaled back home in the dark. Thankfully, he has excellent bike lights to ensure he is easily visible and to help him navigate in the dark.
Free lunch this week π― π
The company Keith works for is having a "hackathon" week this week and part of next week. One perk of participating is that Keith gets to order and expense lunch. π So far, we ordered some delicious lunches from Cafe Rio and Noodles & Company.

Sunny ski day at Snowbird πΏ π
This winter has definitely been a strange one for Utah. The temperatures have been unseasonably high all winter and the snowfall has been unseasonably low. Somehow, Snowbird has been hanging on to what little snowpack they have and the skiing (on the main groomers) has been fairly decent.

We met up with our friends Brandon and Stephanie to ski on Saturday. Unfortunately, Anna was out sick. We all enjoyed the day cruising the groomers and soaking in the sun. Keith and Brandon tried to ski some of the more difficult runs but the snow conditions were terrible and it wasn't a very fun experience for either of them.
Post-ski lunch in Sandy, UT π π―
After a full day of skiing, we had planned to meet up with Brandon and Stephanie to grab a late lunch. However, Stephanie ended up finding a kid on the slopes that needed a lot of help to get down off the mountain. So, they weren't able to meet up with us.

We still headed to a combo spot of Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos and Dog Haus. Keith ordered a huge burrito and a side of loaded tots. Lindsey ordered an amazing looking bbq burger. Everything was delicious and we left stuffed! We were both so hungry from a full day of skiing and neither one of us could finish all of the food. π€―
