More free lunch from Keith's company π½οΈ π―
The hackathon Keith was participating in wrapped up this week. Thanks for his company, we were able to get a few more free lunches! π This time, we ordered lunch from Costa Vida and Bonchon.

Lindsey was able to partake in the Costa Vida meal but she missed out on Bonchon. She was getting a different free lunch with her own company that day. Costa Vida was good, as usual. The meal from Bonchon was amazing! Last time we visited Bonchon, we tried there famous Korean Fried Chicken. This time, Keith ordered the Japchae which is traditionally served with glass noodles. However, they were out of glass noodles so they substituted their udon noodles which were... AMAZING!!! Keith said that these were some of the best counter-serve noodles that he has ever had.
Celebrating Valentine's Day in our own special way π π΅ββοΈ
We typically keep Valentine's Day fairly low-key. However, Keith always tries to surprise Lindsey with a little something special. This year, he bought her a beautiful bouquet of roses and other assorted flowers. Lindsey didn't think that Keith had bought anything this year so she was surprised when the flowers arrived. Keith also bought one more small gift but it was delayed in transit and won't arrive until the following Tuesday.

After surprising Lindsey with the flowers, Keith then headed out on a bike ride to enjoy the spring-like conditions and to give Lindsey some quiet, alone time. Lindsey doesn't get much true alone time since we both work from home. Also, the bike ride was Keith's Valentine's gift to himself. π

Keith rode out to the Valley Vista Trail System. From there, he worked his way up the mountain via a selection of forest service roads and singletrack. It was a beautiful day out on the bike but Keith was looking forward to heading back home and spending the rest of the evening with Lindsey. β€οΈ
Finally! Some amazing wind buff snow at Snowbird β·οΈ ποΈ
The 2026 ski season has been rather abysmal and we have been scrounging any good snow we can find. Thankfully, a recent small storm rolled through this week and we were able to enjoy the wind buff leftovers on Sunday.

We met up with our friends Steph and Brandon and headed up to Upper Silver Fox at Snowbird to hunt for good snow. And, we found it! We found a beautiful layer of about 3 inches (7.6 centimeters) of wind buff that made for an excellent day of skiing. It's too bad that the good snow could only be found on the upper portion of the run.

Apres ski dinner at Drunken Kitchen in South Salt Lake City, UT π π₯
After a hard day of skiing, we were all getting very hungry. So, we decided to head to Drunken Kitchen in South Salt Lake City, UT. This was a bit of a drive north for us, but oh man was it ever worth it! The Taiwanese and Chinese-inspired food was absolutely incredible.

Lindsey ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and Keith ordered the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The incredibly nice and helpful server recommended that we spoon some of the broth from Keith's soup onto the Dan Dan Noodles. π Both Keith and Lindsey absolutely raved about the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup! It was the most delicious broth and the homemade noodles were out of this world! We can't wait to visit this restaurant again to try some of their pork dishes, which were all sold out due to the Valentine's Day rush. π€―
Oh, and Keith also ordered a 1000 Year Old Egg for the table to share! π€’ Only Keith and Steph were brave enough to try it. Keith has had them before and actually kind of likes them. They are definitely an acquired taste though, as Steph found out.
