Keith went on his first actual cold ride of the year π₯Ά π΄ββοΈ
The inversion and smog have finally started to clear in Utah county so Keith was excited to be able to get out for a true winter ride. Keith suited up in most of his winter gear and headed out for a late afternoon ride one evening after work.

The air was crisp and Keith said it felt great to be out on his bike again. Keith rode from our house up to the mouth of American Fork Canyon before looping back towards home at Highland Glen Park in American Fork, UT. It's crazy to think that it is late January and there is still hardly any snow on the mountains and none in the valleys! π₯ All in all, Keith rode a little over 40 miles (64 kilometers) with 1,300 feet (396 meters) of elevation gain.
Keith bought a new wired router π§βπ» π€
Keith is continuing his pursuit of building out a small homelab for our network of household software services and his own personal development/educational playground. This week, Keith purchased and began setting up a new wired router that will replace our old wireless router.

This new router will run OPNsense, which is a much more capable router software that will allow for Keith to apply all of the necessary configurations to our home network. Since Keith was sick this weekend π€§, he spent most of his time setting up this router and learning how to configure OPNsense. Now that he has it mostly configured, it is time for him to integrate it into our home network.
Amazing Korean wings at Bonchon π°π· π
We weren't sure if we were going to be able to go out for a date night this weekend since Keith wasn't feeling good. Thankfully, he had started to feel much better by Sunday evening so we decided to get out of the house for a bit and check out a Korean wings place called Bonchon.

We ordered a selection of their options including wings, drumsticks, bulgogi fries, and street corn. The wings were good but the drumsticks were HUGE and delicious! The drumsticks are definitely the way to go at Bonchon. They were fried to perfection and coated in a super sticky, craveable, sweet & spicy sauce. π Overall, we were very happy with our meal and were left with several drumsticks to take home.
