2025 Tour Divide: Racing (Day 6) - Seeley Lake, Montana πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ to the Llama Ranch, Montana πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
Day 6 was the day I finally felt like I was racing. After a rough, sleepless start, I climbed strong over Huckleberry Pass, got humbled by the brutal Stemple Pass, and capped it all off with one of the most magical evenings of the entire route at The Llama Ranch. πŸ¦™

We spent a full week in Myrtle Beach, SC, with Lindsey's family to celebrate Lindsey's Mom's official retirement. πŸ₯³ It was so much fun catching up with all of them and seeing how much the kids have grown.

We mostly spent our time hanging out at the pools and beach. πŸ–οΈ We went out to some delicious dinners, including a Calabash-style seafood buffet. 🦐 We also managed to squeeze in a round of miniature golf. β›³

"Dot watching" the 2026 Tour Divide πŸ‘€ πŸ—ΊοΈ

The 2026 Tour Divide grand depart officially kicked off on Friday, June 12th, 2026. Keith has been glued to the tracker ever since! We have been watching Victor Bosoni absolutely crush the course. He is on pace to set a new official grand depart record as well as take the fastest known time (FKT).

Keith's friend Steve, whom he met during the 2025 Tour Divide, raced the route from the start in Banff, AB, to the Llama Ranch near Helena, MT. Steve was registered as a racer, so we couldn't dot watch him, but he did give us a few updates along the way. Steve said the first day was rough due to heavy rain and cold temperatures. After that rough start, the skies cleared, and the weather has been beautiful since. 🌀️

Getting back to our normal routines πŸ§‘β€πŸ’» 🏒

All good things must come to an end... we are back in Utah and starting to get back to our normal routines. It's always a struggle to get ready for work again after being on such a relaxing vacation. ☺️

Keith has queued up the next 3 days of Tour Divide race videos and blog posts to be worked on. Lindsey is still working through the recovery process from her PRP procedure. Thankfully, she seems to be making good progress now. πŸ™
