Oops... forgot to send this out last week. 🤦 We spent the week prepping for an upcoming family vacation 🏖️, and Keith snuck in two big day rides 🚵♂️.

Sushi date night dinner 🍣 🍜
For date night this week, we headed to Tapa Sushi in American Fork, UT. We have been here once or twice prior, but it has been a while, and we were both really craving some delicious Asian meals.

We started our meal with a squid salad appetizer and a delicious sushi roll. The squid was incredibly flavorful, and the marinade was delightful. Our main courses arrived shortly after. Lindsey ordered the shrimp and scallops, and Keith ordered the Niku Udon soup. Both meals were so delicious!
Keith's "Tour du Valley Vista" 🚵 🐍
Keith hasn't ridden much singletrack yet this year. So, he decided to sharpen his skills by riding all three primary trails in the Valley Vista Trail System in Pleasant Grove, UT.
These trails are so much fun. They provide a perfect mix of climbing, cross-country (XC), and downhill; everything Keith needs to prepare himself for the upcoming trail riding season.
A ride to the bike shop 🚲 🔧
Keith needed to take his bike to the bike shop to have some long-overdue service completed. Specifically, he needed:
- Front suspension fork rebuilt
- Rear shock rebuilt
- New bottom bracket installed
- Headset serviced/replaced
- Dropper post shims replaced
Lindsey just happened to be out at a work lunch near the Bike Peddler in Lehi, UT, so Keith decided to ride his bike there and have Lindsey pick him up on her way home.

This was a great way to get one last riding session in before losing access to the bike for at least a week. Also, the timing worked out well, since we would be out of town on vacation while the shop performed the service.
Heading to Myrtle Beach, SC 🛫 🏖️
We are headed to Myrtle Beach, SC, to meet up with Lindsey's mom, sister, brother-in-law, and niece and nephew. We are so excited to see them all again and to spend some time relaxing at the beach. We will tell you more about this trip in our next weekly newsletter.
