Keith is still recovering from the PRP injection 💉👨⚕️
Keith has been fortunate to not experience a lot of pain from his recent PRP injection. He has been trying to be smart and not overdo it in the hopes of keeping this recovery process smooth and pain-free. This means that Keith has been avoiding strenuous activity such as weightlifting and cycling. We are hoping that Keith will be able to start returning to sport next week. 🤞
Upgrading our bikes to Clik Valves 🚲 🔧
One of the most frustrating parts on modern bikes has to be Presta valves. These valves are very finicky and often lose air when the valve is opened or closed. This makes it almost impossible to set an exact pressure for mountain biking.

To resolve this issue, Keith upgraded all of our bikes, wheelsets, and pumps from Presta valves to Clik Valves. These modern valves eliminate the fragile, lossy Presta valve core and allow for checking tire pressure with nearly zero pressure loss. We will have a more complete review of these new Clik Valves once we have had a chance to use them for a month or so. Initial impressions are very positive!
A day of running errands together 👫 🥞
On Saturday, we headed out to run a bunch of errands that had been stacking up. This included dropping off some old clothes at Goodwill, dropping off old medications at the local disposal event, and doing a little outlet shopping at the Outlets at Traverse Mountain.

While we were out, we had breakfast at The Original Pancake House in Lehi, UT. We had originally planned to eat at the local Joe's Cafe in Orem, UT, but unfortunately they were closed this weekend. We'll have to try again in the near future. Breakfast was great, and the restaurant was conveniently located close to the outlet mall.
