Keith is preparing for a PRP injection ๐Ÿ’‰ ๐Ÿฉธ

Keith visited Dr. Chappell at In2It Medical this week. He has been dealing with lingering knee pain that often builds up throughout the ski season. In preparation for this year's ski season, Keith decided to see a doctor about it finally.

Keith gave Dr. Chappell a brief description of the pain that he has been experiencing. Dr. Chappell was quickly able to locate and identify the root cause of the pain: Keith has some minor wear on the meniscus in his right knee. This could be a lingering side effect of Keith's prior ACL surgery and associated recovery, or it could be an injury from something that occurred over the past couple of years. It's hard to tell at this point.

Regardless, the good news is that this is easily treatable with a single round (hopefully ๐Ÿคž) of PRP injections and some additional prescribed physical therapy. Amazingly, Dr. Chappell said that Keith's knee looked great and he didn't see anything else concerning while he was performing the imaging analysis. Keith's PRP injection is scheduled for the following week, so hopefully he will be back to full strength soon and ready for the upcoming ski season! โ›ท๏ธ

Girl's Day Out ๐Ÿฎ ๐Ÿฉ ๐Ÿ“š

Lindsey and her friends planned this day out for several weeks. They had three main objectives: cuddle cows, eat apple cider donuts, and visit a bookstore. Spoiler: It was a success!!

Scottish Highland Cow Cuddle ๐Ÿฎ ๐Ÿค—

The day started with the "Cow Cuddle" at Fold of Liberty Farms. This experience allows you to pet, brush, and cuddle Scottish Highland cows and calves. The girls had the best time wandering through the field and learning each cow's personality. Some were very chill, loved being brushed, and enjoyed a cuddle. Others were so friendly that when you tried to leave, they'd follow you and nudge you to continue (much like a dog). Some were even so jealous that they would push other cows out of the way for attention. It was pretty comical, but you did have to be careful not to get in the middle of a cow squabble!

Donuts at The Barn - Wall Brothers ๐Ÿฉ ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŒพ

Lindsey and Keith always get apple cider donuts in the Fall, usually from Rowley's Red Barn, but Lindsey was excited when she realized The Barn - Wall Brothers was near Fold of Liberty Farms, making it the perfect stop on their day out. None of the girls had been to The Barn - Wall Brothers before, so it was fun to check out the local produce, snacks, desserts, unique gifts, and more. Everyone enjoyed a donut before they left the parking lot.

Browsing Poppy Books and Gifts ๐Ÿ“– ๐ŸŽ

Poppy Books and Gifts was another nearby shop on Lindsey's Google Maps list, so this was the perfect time to check it out. The book selection was excellent, featuring many local authors, staff picks, and customer picks. The store was larger than anticipated; a highlight was finding the hidden miniature scenes within the bookstore. It would be fun to buy a book and sit in the outdoor space to start readingโ€“ maybe next time!
