Our traditional Thanksgiving dinner 🦃 🥘

Since moving to Utah in 2016, we have had a tradition of doing non-traditional things for Thanksgiving meals. Some years, we splurged on going out to a Thanksgiving dinner buffet such as the over-the-top buffet at Snowbird. Other years, Keith cooked a theme-based Thanksgiving meal, which may be based on a specific culture (e.g., Chinese, Indian, etc.) or style of food (e.g., brunch, pizza, etc).

This year, we decided to return to our Indiana roots and cook a very traditional, midwestern Thanksgiving meal. Since it was just going to be the two of us this year, we decided to keep the meal small and forgo cooking a whole bird in favor a only cooking a turkey breast. For accompaniments, we included green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, dinner rolls, and homemade cranberry sauce. We also picked up one of the HUGE pumpkin pies from Costco!

Everything was delicious and really reminded us of celebrating Thanksgiving with our families. We hope that you were able to enjoy Thanksgiving as well. Let us know how you celebrated in the comments below.

Black Friday shopping spree! 🛍️ 💸

We have each been keeping a list of items that we wanted to purchase on Black Friday...

Keith's list consisted of a lot of bike maintenance parts due to the wear and tear caused by the 2025 Tour Divide race and the training leading up to the race. Keith also purchased some computer equipment to allow him to build out a "homelab," which will be used to host the software services that make our TV, DVR, and other home services operate. This homelab will also be used for learning purposes so that Keith can have a development environment in which to test new software technologies.

Lindsey didn't have much on her list this year. She ordered some clothing and a few other products that she had been wanting. We also ordered a new Dakine Fall Line Roller Ski Bag for our upcoming ski trip.

Keith officially switched from Zwift to Rouvy 🚴‍♂️ 😅

This week was decision time for Keith. He had previously paused his Zwift account in order to test out Rouvy, but he needed to decide by December 1st as to whether or not he would continue using Zwift or officially switch over to Rouvy.

Keith has been so happy with the ride experience, real-world visuals, and available routes on Rouvy that he decided to officially switch to Rouvy and cancel his Zwift account.
